Three Wells

TheThree Wells is a place of exceptional natural beauty located in the Greek islandof Mykonos, close to the town centre. Located next to the old Mykonos port, itis an area of lush greenery, crystal clear azure water, and stunning whitestone structures. The area was once the centre of Mykonos’ maritime industry, buttoday the area is most well known for its exquisite beauty.

The area seen at TheThree Wells is made up of two small natural-spring pools, surrounded bytraditional Cycladic-style buildings. The pools are connected by a narrow footpathwhich passes through a small forest. In the middle lies a fountain with a heliconof water, which was created from an archaeological excavation. Along the pathyou will find a variety of traditional-style buildings, such as a wine bar, bakery, and a few small cafés.

TheThree Wells is an area filled with mystery and beauty. There are stories aboutthe amphoras that were found at the bottom of the pools, which supposedlycontained gold coins, jewelry and precious objects which were hidden in thesepools by the gods of ancient Greece. However, these tales have yet to beconfirmed, so there is always a sense of mystery surrounding the Three Wells.

TheThree Wells is a great place to spend some time enjoying the sun, swimming in theclear blue waters, and having a bite to eat or drink in one of the nearby eateries.The area is largely untouched by modern development, so visitors can still enjoynature in its purest state. During the summer months, the pools become a greatplace to cool off on a hot day, while at night they are illuminated in a brilliantblue hue that creates a dreamy, romantic atmosphere.
